1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Datalab, an investment research and market information platform operated by Datalab, including websites, pages, charts, data, news, calendars, AI analysis, discussion areas, account features and related services.
By accessing, browsing, registering for or using the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
If you use the platform on behalf of a company, organisation or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf. In that case, "you" also includes that entity.
2. Platform Purpose and Scope
Datalab provides market data, stock information, news summaries, financial calendars, earnings calendars, watchlists, charts, analyst consensus information, AI-assisted research summaries, theme organisation, discussion features and related tools for general research, education and informational reference.
The platform is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, financial adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, credit institution or fiduciary. We do not execute trades, hold client assets, make investment decisions for you or provide personalised investment, tax, legal or financial planning advice.
Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued because of region, account status, data availability, maintenance, third-party restrictions or operational decisions.
3. No Investment Advice
All information, data, ratings, scores, signals, charts, screeners, forecasts, AI analysis, news summaries, community content and derived content on the platform are provided for general information only. They do not constitute investment advice, an investment research report, an offer, a solicitation, a recommendation, a guarantee or an instruction to buy, sell or hold any security or other asset.
Displaying any stock, ETF, crypto asset, commodity, index, sector, theme or market event does not mean that Datalab recommends, endorses or guarantees its performance.
You are solely responsible for your investment, trading and asset allocation decisions. You should consider your financial situation, objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance and legal or tax circumstances, and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.
4. Investment and Trading Risk
Investing involves risk. Securities, ETFs, options, crypto assets, commodities and other financial products can rise or fall in value, and you may lose some or all of your capital. Past performance does not indicate future results, and no simulation, backtest, score, forecast or probability estimate guarantees future performance.
Markets may be affected by interest rates, inflation, earnings, political events, regulatory changes, liquidity, exchange rates, breaking news, trading halts, data revisions and many other factors. The platform cannot predict or control these risks.
Leverage, margin, derivatives, short-term trading and crypto assets may involve higher risk and may not be suitable for all users. You should not make trades based solely on platform content.
5. Data Accuracy, Delays and Third-Party Sources
The platform may use third-party data providers, public information, market data, news sources, exchange information, company disclosures, analyst data, user content and automated processing. We aim to present useful information, but we do not guarantee that any data is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for your purpose.
Market prices, volume, company information, financial data, earnings calendars, economic calendars, news, analyst forecasts, ratings, price targets, sector classifications and historical data may be delayed, revised, missing, duplicated, changed by third parties or affected by source errors.
Corporate actions, splits, reverse splits, dividends, ex-rights adjustments, delistings, ticker changes, exchange holidays, time zone differences and currency conversions may cause charts, returns, percentage changes, valuations, rankings and statistics to differ from other sources.
Before relying on important information, you should verify it against exchanges, company announcements, brokers, regulatory filings or other authoritative sources.
6. Statistics, Calculations, Counts and Commit/Comment Numbers May Be Inaccurate
Counts, rankings, popularity indicators, scores, percentages, advance/decline statistics, breadth scores, sentiment tags, news counts, discussion counts, reply counts, comment counts, submission counts or commit counts, page views, saves, hit rates and other metrics shown on the platform may be inaccurate because of caching, sync delays, data cleaning, duplicated data, deleted or hidden content, third-party revisions, system errors, network delays or algorithm changes.
Any calculation may be affected by source-data errors, missing values, rounding, time windows, currency conversion, trading-day definitions, trading halts, corporate actions or model assumptions. Numbers shown on the platform should not be treated as accounting records, audit results, trade confirmations, official disclosures or an investment basis.
If a number differs from another source, you should rely on official announcements, exchanges, brokers or the original data provider and verify the information independently.
7. AI-Generated Content and Model Limitations
Some platform content may be generated, organised, translated, classified, summarised, scored or analysed by AI, machine-learning models, rules engines or other automated systems. AI content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, bias, misunderstood context, inaccurate translation, incorrect citations, data confusion or hallucinations.
AI may misunderstand news, earnings reports, corporate actions, macro data, tickers, regions, times, currencies, financial line items or user questions. AI may also produce different conclusions from the same information at different times.
AI-generated content is for research reference only and must not be treated as a factual guarantee, personalised advice, professional opinion, trading signal or basis for buying or selling. You must verify AI content independently and bear all risks from using it.
We do not guarantee that AI analysis will identify all material risks, material news, financial errors, fraud, regulatory issues or market manipulation.
8. Accounts, Login and Security
Some features may require an account. You must provide accurate, current and complete registration information and keep it reasonably updated.
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, email account, verification links and device security, and for all activity under your account. You should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate account features for security, abuse prevention, compliance, operational or service-integrity reasons.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use the platform for unlawful activity, fraud, market manipulation, rights infringement, harassment, spam, malware distribution, system attacks, bypassing restrictions, unauthorised access, scraping or overloading the service.
You must not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly display, bulk-download or commercialise platform data in a way that violates third-party data terms, exchange rules or applicable law.
You must not represent that any platform output is approved, endorsed or personalised advice from Datalab, data providers, exchanges or any third party.
10. Community, Discussions and User Content
If you post comments, discussions, replies, views, links, images or other content, you are responsible for that content and confirm that you have the right to submit it.
You must not post content that is unlawful, misleading, false, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, privacy-infringing, intellectual-property-infringing, market-manipulative, impersonating, undisclosed-conflict content or scam promotion.
We may remove, hide, rank, label, restrict or moderate user content, and may suspend or terminate related accounts, based on platform safety, content quality, legal risk, user complaints or operational needs.
User content reflects the views of its publisher and does not represent the position of Datalab. We do not guarantee that user content is accurate, complete or reliable.
11. Third-Party Links, Data and Services
The platform may link to or reference third-party websites, news, images, data providers, payment services, social platforms, AI services, cloud services or other external resources. Third-party services are controlled by their operators and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, accuracy, delays, fees, data handling or losses caused by third-party services.
12. Intellectual Property
Except for third-party content and user content, the platform, design, software, branding, logos, layout, research presentation, text, graphics, data organisation methods, model-output presentation and other materials are owned by Datalab or its licensors.
You may use the platform for personal or internal research purposes. Without our written permission, you must not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, build a competing service from, remove branding from or otherwise misuse platform content.
13. Availability, Maintenance and Changes
We may change, suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of the platform at any time, including features, data sources, displays, AI models, calculation methods, language versions, account features and access rights.
The platform may be unavailable, delayed or incorrect because of maintenance, deployments, networks, third-party providers, data-source outages, high traffic, security events or events outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or permanent availability.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all express or implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Datalab is not liable for trading losses, investment losses, lost profits, lost revenue, loss of goodwill, lost data, business interruption, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, even if we have been advised that such damages may occur.
You understand and agree that all decisions and consequences arising from your use of the platform or reliance on platform content are your sole responsibility.
15. Privacy
How we collect, use, store and protect personal information is described in the platform Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you also agree that the Privacy Policy applies to your use.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in services, law, risks, data sources, AI features or operational arrangements. The updated date on this page shows when the terms were last revised.
Your continued use of the platform after the terms are updated means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree with the update, you should stop using the platform.
